Bernz Ordoñez Caasi is a former anti-Catholic Protestant who once urged his mother to burn the statues of the saints. After discerning a call to become a pastor, he was led back to the Catholic Church in 2015. He founded Unboxing Catholicism in 2020 to help others defend the faith clearly without being preachy. He is currently pursuing an MA in Theology at the Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas in Manila and serves as the Philippines Team Lead for Hallow, the world’s leading Catholic prayer app. In his spare time, he remains devoted to analog crafts and the intentional disciplines of film photography, vinyl music, letter writing, journaling, his fountain pen, Blackwing pencils, and typewriters.
